Market Overview & Analysis
Each bar is one ISO week (Mon–Fri), measured as the percentage move from the previous trading week's close to this week's close. Holiday-shortened weeks are still plotted against the last close before the break, so a Diwali or holiday-week delta reads correctly. Weeks with fewer than five trading sessions — and the week still in progress — are marked in the tooltip.

One bar per ISO week. Bars above the zero line are up weeks, below are down weeks.
Vendor daily bars are stamped 18:30 UTC, which is 00:00 IST of the following day. Reading the UTC date instead of the IST one labels every session a day early — it placed roughly 1,025 of 5,111 sessions on weekends and pulled each Friday into the next Monday's week, shifting every weekly bar. The fetch script converts to IST before writing, and the committed CSV fallback is re-dated on read. Validated against an independent NSE-sourced series: all 5,110 overlapping closes agree exactly, and 1,073 of 1,075 weekly deltas match to the basis point. The two that differ are the weeks of 26 Feb and 4 Mar 2024, when the NSE series carries no row for a genuine Sunday muhurat session that the vendor does — so those weeks take a different prior-week baseline.
